Boca Grande Pass funnels migrating tarpon between Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf each spring and summer, alongside year-round snook, redfish, and grouper action on the surrounding flats and ledges.

Seasonal patterns
Tarpon peak May–July on Pass tides. Snook stack on the beaches June–August. Grouper open seasons fish well on nearshore hard bottom in 30–60 ft.
